Once cooled, the system solidifies into a permanent, rigid yet flexible barrier that completely locks out moisture, corrosive fluids, and atmospheric contaminants. The tactile feel of the tubing prior to installation is smooth and pliable, allowing for easy routing in tight spaces. After shrinkage, the surface becomes robust and firm, providing excellent strain relief that prevents wire fatigue at connection points.
